5 Tips To Keep The Skin Clear During Winter

I have listed below some of the simplest and easiest ways to help you keep your skin clear and moist.
1.) Avoid touching the skin too much

Try not to touch your face too much as the facial skin is more sensitive than the skin of the other body parts. Bacteria and oils on the hands get transferred into the facial skin resulting into pimples. Use clean pillows and pullovers as dandruff and bacteria on your bedding can also cause skin problems. For keeping the skin moist you should use good cold creams, but remember not to use greasy creams as they block the skin pores.

2.) Pick the right make-up kit

If you are suffering from constant acne and pimples problem then you should pick make-up products that are specifically made for pimple-prone skin. Ask your dermatologist before using those products. Use these products only if they have ‘non-comedogenic’ label. Use a ‘foundation’ that is oil-free, mattifying, or mineral-based. I recommend do not use too much of make-up during winter as the pores of the skin are blocked during cold season and applying make-up suffocates the skin.

3.) Don’t be harsh to your skin

When washing your face be gentle and do not rub too much. Over-rubbing your facial skin with cleansers and scrubs can cause problems. White skin is more sensitive than dark. Over-rubbing will pull out all essential natural oils and will cause your skin to overcompensate by producing more sebum, but the too-astringent ingredients will leave your face looking red and feeling tight and dry and I’m sure you wouldn’t want that especially during winter.

 4.) Have good-for-skin diet

Proper rest and healthy diet is the simplest and most easy way of keeping the skin clear, healthy and naturally moist during winters. Balanced diet that does not include chips, chocolates and fried products can be of great help. Diet that includes fish like salmon, tuna and mackerel that have high skin-loving omega 3 fats, greens vegetables, and grains that are help in increasing of fiber and ensure effective digestion is ideal for all seasons. Drink a lot of fresh every day.

5.) Sweat and let the skin breathe

As physical exertion is good for heart, lungs and other body parts so it is for the skin. Exercise increases the intake of oxygen, stimulates circulation of blood that helps in the increase of the provision of nutrients to the cells. This helps not only in growth but in keeping the skin glowing. Sweating makes the skin pores open up and throw out the dirt stuck in the skin that otherwise does not get out and provokes pimples and acne.
